“Diwali is a festival of lights not crackers”
With the aim to curb air and noise pollution emanating from bursting of crackers, School undertook an Anti-Fire Crackers Campaign on the theme 'Say No to Fire Crackers' before the auspicious festival of Diwali to sensitize students about the ill effects of burning firecrackers. With the noble aim of celebrating ‘Green Diwali’ students pledged to say ‘No’ to crackers and ‘Yes’ to pollution free environment during the Hon'ble Environment Minister’s Interaction with students on 1st November 2021.
With the aim of creating awareness among the masses about the tremendous air pollution caused due to bursting of crackers a presentation was shown to students of classes V to VIII during their classes and activities such as slogan writing, poster making, pamphlet making etc were done by little MMPians of Class III-V during their classes.
Pals of Grade L.K.G to Grade 2 had a wonderful time by participating in different hands-on activities related to Diwali.
Students not only enjoyed the activities but the sheer aim of generating a sense of duty towards the environment was fulfilled.
